Meredith Moran, LMHC

With over 20 years combined experience as a mental health provider and first responder, I have an exceptional understanding of the way traumatic events shape our minds and bodies. This includes how we perceive every facet of our lives, from work, relationships, and absolutely who we see in the mirror. My clinical experience includes work in the nonprofit and private sector with individuals and groups, helping people heal from abuse, stress, anxiety, addictions, and trauma. Additionally, I have spent over 15 years working in the criminal justice system, as a law enforcement officer and first responder training coordinator.

My background in law enforcement makes me uniquely qualified to understand the stressors that first responders experience as well as the traumatic events that can have lasting impressions. Additional areas of counseling include: Accelerated Resolution Therapy, Crisis Intervention, Trauma, Stress Management and Depression/Anxiety.

I offer a highly personalized approach tailored to each of my clients’ individual needs to help attain the personal growth they’re striving for. I believe in client-focused, strength-based, and solution-focused approach, working with each person in their unique set of circumstances to help find the path to their best, happiest, and most confident self!

Treatment

I provide person-centered, solution-focused, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. I am also certified in a procedure called Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART), an evidence-based treatment that utilizes bi-lateral brain stimulation, to address negative symptoms associated with depression, anxiety, and Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD).
