FOP National Vice President Joe Gamaldi was born and raised on Long Island, NY. Following high school he attended the University of Hartford, where he earned a degree in Criminal Justice, with minors in Political Science and Sociology. After graduation, Officer Gamaldi was hired by the NYPD in 2005 where he worked as an officer for approximately three years. Elected the 19th National Secretary of the Fraternal Order of Police at the 64th Biennial Conference in New Orleans in 2019, Jimmy Holderfield has served the Order since 1978. Jimmy was born in Logan County, West Virginia and grew up in Jacksonville, Florida. He began his law enforcement career at age 19 as a Correctional Officer with the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office. National Treasurer Tom Penoza was re-elected at the 64th Biennial Conference in New Orleans, LA to serve an eleventh term. Tom served as an active police officer for over forty-two years and has been a member of the Fraternal Order of Police for over forty-seven years. Les Neri was elected National 2nd Vice President at the 2015 Centennial National Conference in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Les was born and raised in the city of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and began his career in law enforcement at the age of 19. Keith was elected Sergeant at Arms at the 63rd Biennial Conference in Nashville, Tennessee. Keith Turney has been a member of the Fraternal Order of Police for over 40 years and is the current Second Vice President of the Illinois FOP State Lodge. Keith spent 31 years as a Joliet Police Officer in the State of Illinois and retired at the rank of Commander in 2009. More Info
