The Anderson Police Department has introduced a new member to their team—meet Buck, a 2-year-old Lab/Golden Retriever now assigned to the Hamilton County Metro Crimes Against Children unit. Trained in electronic storage device detection and therapy, Buck will help in identifying cell phones, tablets, hard drives, and other devices involved in child exploitation cases.
Partnered with Detective Matthew Jarrett, Buck will provide vital support in both detecting critical evidence and offering comfort to victims and officers during traumatic investigations. This addition, funded through a grant from Our Rescue, will strengthen efforts to combat child sex trafficking and exploitation.
Welcome, Buck, to the team! Your service will make a significant difference in the fight against child exploitation.
