Well, we’re here to set the record straight: the slides at Howard Park are 100% police-approved.
Some of our School Resource Officers took a break from handing out popsicles (or should we say “copsicles”?) to have a little fun in the sun today. Because connecting with the community means showing up — and sometimes sliding down — together.

Last night, our officers found a lost citizen with an exhausted three-legged dog who couldn’t stand because of a severely injured paw.
Officer Benedict didn’t hesitate — she used her Stanley mug as a makeshift water bowl to help the pup while waiting for the heroes from the Nebraska Humane Society to arrive.
