As an officer, you give so much of yourself to others—but who’s looking out for you? Compassion fatigue is real, but you can manage it.
🔹 Set Boundaries – Giving your all is important, but it’s okay to say "no" sometimes.
🔹 Make Time for Yourself – Whether it’s a hobby, a workout, or just downtime, prioritize your personal time.
🔹 Take Breaks – Step away from the job mentally when possible. Your mind needs a reset too.

We Remember: Boston Marathon Bombing

On Patriots' Day, a day meant to honor the spirit of freedom and resilience, tragedy struck Boston.
Two bombs exploded near the finish line of the Boston Marathon, killing three people and injuring more than 260. In the hours and days that followed, local, state, and federal law enforcement officers responded with unmatched bravery and determination. They ran toward the chaos, comforted victims, secured the city, and launched one of the most complex manhunts in modern history.
Officer Sean Collier of the MIT Police Department was ambushed and killed during the suspects' attempt to flee. His name stands among the honored—the price paid in the line of duty.
The bombing was an act of hate. The response was an act of unity.
Today, we remember the lives lost, the families forever changed, and the heroes who stood watch over Boston in its darkest hours.
We honor every officer who answered the call.
We remember. We stand with Boston.
Always.
