The Chief of Police will direct the activities and operations of the Police Department including the Patrol Bureau, Investigation and Special Operations Bureau, and Operations Support Bureau; coordinate assigned activities with other departments, bureaus, divisions, and outside agencies. The Chief of Police also oversees the Colorado Springs Police Department Human Resources and Finance sections.
