Law enforcement officers, survivors, supporters and dignitaries from across the country traveled to Washington, D.C., in May to attend several poignant National Police Week ceremonies and gatherings. Events including the C.O.P.S. National Police Survivors’ Conference, Candlelight Vigil, Police Unity Tour and the FOP’s 44th annual National Peace Officers’ Memorial Service honored the courageous men and women of law enforcement who gave their lives in the line of duty in 2024 and throughout our nation’s history.
