We had a good turnout for this year’s annual Day on the Hill event, with 115 registered participants from 24 State lodges. The joint rally with the International Association of Fire Fighters (IAFF) on the grounds of the U.S. Capitol on March 5 had perhaps as many as 1,000 participants. Representative Garret N. Graves (R-La.) spoke to the crowd and committed that he was going to do everything he could to get H.R. 82, the Social Security Fairness Act, to the floor for an up-or-down vote. Read More
