The City of Mesquite seeks an experienced and passionate leader to serve as their new Police Chief. Reporting directly to the City Manager, the Mesquite Police Chief plans, directs, supervises, and coordinates the activities of the Police Department. The Police Chief coordinates assigned activities with the City Manager, Fire Chief, other City departments, and outside agencies and provides highly responsible and complex administrative support to the City Manager and City Council. The Police Chief proactively engages with community and neighboring law enforcement agencies to provide world-class public safety.
