FOP Monthly Update: Officers Shot and Killed

The National Fraternal Order of Police reports that as of 1 May, there have been 123 officers shot so far in 2022, 19 of whom were killed by gunfire. 

There have been 25 ambush-style attacks on law enforcement officers this year (+14% from 2021 YTD), which have resulted in 39 officers shot, 6 of whom were killed.
