FOP Monthly Update: Officers Shot and Killed

The National Fraternal Order of Police reports that as of 1 April, there have been 101 officers shot so far in 2022, 17 of whom were killed by gunfire. 

There have been 19 ambush-style attacks on law enforcement officers this year (+36% from 2021 YTD), which have resulted in 32 officers shot, 5 of whom were killed.
