Washington, DC - Patrick Yoes, National President of the Fraternal Order of Police, was surprised and pleased that the Fraternal Order of Police was awarded the DHS Secretary’s Partnership Award from Chad F. Wolf, Acting Secretary of the U.S. Department of Homeland Security.
“On behalf of the more than 356,000 members of the Fraternal Order of Police, I am honored to accept the DHS Secretary’s Partnership Award,” said Yoes. “The FOP is proud of the exceptional work that we have achieved with the Department of Homeland Security that has advanced critical priorities of our members.”
The DHS Secretary’s Partnership Award was awarded to the FOP due to the organization’s dedication to the overall mission of the U.S. Department of Homeland Security.
“The men and women of the FOP comprise the heart and soul of the Thin Blue Line and I will always be committed to supporting and standing up for the law enforcement community,” Acting Secretary Wolf said in a November 2020 letter sent to Yoes.
“The protection and security of all Americans is a top priority of the FOP,” said Yoes. “The FOP will continue to partner with the DHS in order to ensure that we keep America and her citizens safe. We are grateful for Acting Secretary Wolf’s strong support of our brothers and sisters in law enforcement and his exemplary service to our nation.”
