Officer Wellness Training Now Available to FOP Lodges


The Fraternal Order of Police is proud to announce that training is now available for all State and Local Lodges through the National FOP' Officer Wellness Committee. Lodges should note the wellness course catalog includes peer mentoring training identified through SB 867 and recently signed into federal law by the President.

Course offerings include:

Critical Incident Stress Management (Certified Courses) **

  • CISM: Assisting Individuals in Crisis – 2 days
  • The Group Crisis Intervention – 2 days


  • Both Individual and Group courses in a 3-day consolidated format

Advanced Peer Support and Mentoring Course

  • Advanced Peer Support and Mentoring – 2-4 hours

Personal and Career Survival Courses

  • Resiliency, Wellness and Development: Personal and Career Survival – 2 hours
  • Early Intervention, PTSD and Suicide Prevention – 2 hours
  • Resilience and Officer Suicide – 2 hours
  • Green to Blue: Military Veterans Returning to Civilian Law Enforcement – 2 hours

Training must be confirmed by the hosting lodge/agency at least 60 days prior to the scheduled date of training.

Lodges are responsible for all instructor travel costs and expenses and any course materials associated with the training and paid at least 60 days in advance of the scheduled training date.

** There is an additional fee to register all certified CISM courses with ICISF that must be paid to the instructor at least 60 days in advance of the scheduled training date to ensure ICISF registration.
